As always it is all about personal taste. Straight from the fridge, well chilled this wine seemed to lack flavour. Things improved after the initial chill came off but I am yet to be convinced hence the "its ok" title and the 3 stars.
Crisp like a juicy Granny Smith from the fridge, this wine is an excellent summertime accompaniment. Citrus on the nose and apple in the mouth, it would suit a dish of cray fish tails in sweet chilli sauce

There are better
A bottom quartile wine - too acidic and thin. A shame, because there are some excellent Chilean Sauvs, but sadly this isn't one of them
One of my "discovery" wines from Laithwaites, this is a good, mid-level textbook Sauvignon - neither quite as tropical and overblown as, say, a Marlborough nor yet as lean and steely as an underripe Loire example. So, balanced, then is a good way to sum this up.
There's good, restrained tropical fruit on the nose, some but not too much of the herbaceous, green nettley aromas, some lemongrass with good refreshing acidity on the palate and a pleasant finish.
From Chile's Central Valley, it is relatively low in alcohol at 12.5% and works both with food and as a quaffing wine. Match with salmon or other meaty, oily fish or goat's cheese.
This is all really down to personal taste. Keep trying Sav Blanc but just doesn't do anything for me. Have tasted better from another supplier and Chile.

A Chilean disappointment
A little on the thin side as not much of the flavour comes through. Just about OK with a fish dish

Nice easy drinking wine
This is a pleasant wine with no real vices, a typical Sauvignon Blanc, not the best but very reasonable at the price.

Re-awakening
This has re-awakened my interest in white wine!
I normally find it difficult to appreciate white wine. However, I thoroughly enjoyed the Don Cayetano both on its own and with a delicious seafood risotto.
Highly recommended and well worth it!

Happy to Serve
We've had a few bottles of this now. Always fruity and a little dry. A good all-rounder. Better flavour than the more popular pinot grigio/gris. Good with food.

Sauvignon Blanc not top of my list but...
Refreshing and very drinkable - and whilst I normally go for heavier, more pronounced whites, this was a really enjoyable glass.
Admission - I have a cold, so aromas are a little vague - but this wine appeared to have hints of something flowery, that tastes different to anything I've had before.
I'll save the second bottle until my nose clears!

Refreshingly Simple
An extremely refreshing wine confirming why Chilean Sauvignon Blanc is a favourite of mine.
Great example of sauvignon here, it has all the hallmarks of cut-grass, peas and citrus on the nose with a really zingy, sharp-sweet balance with lots of citrussy lemon/lime fruit. Amazing value, beats most supermarket sauvignons at £10 to £12 hands-down, even the NZ ones. Try it blind against one!

Bit acidic - beyond normal
This was dry to the point of dissolving me dentures, if I had any. Was just too acidic for me, I like dry, but wow - this left me with stumps not teeth.
